Now see in the horoscope of Swami Paramananda Saraswati four
striking sannyas yogas (planetary combination giving
renunciation and spirituality):
1) Four planets in the 11th houses with the 10th lord and none
of them combust. The conjunction being in the 11th house (of
gains) gave him his spiritual attainments very early in life
and brought him donations for his ashram (spiritual
center) in lakhs (100,000 rupees), not merely when he breathed
and lived amongst us but even ten years after he left us.

2) In the navamsha, Moon in the rashi (sign) of Mars aspected
by Saturn is another sannyas yoga.
3) Jupiter in the 8th aspected by Saturn was good for yoga
sadhana (spiritual practice), but it had a sinister
implication for him. I had once discussed it with him and he
said, "That is God's will."
4) Ketu in the 12th alone, without aspect of the 5th or the
9th lord or of the deva-guru (teacher of gods)
Jupiter, cannot be treated as a spiritual combination my
Guruji told me many times when he asked me to work on the horoscopes
of many sadhakas (spiritual aspirant). I can now say
with confidence that, when spiritual promise exists, Ketu's
presence in the 12th house is an indicator of steady to spectacular
progress in spiritual life. In the horoscope of three other
extraordinary saints, whom I had the occasion to know closely,
I found it giving them, at the right stage of their lives, such
spiritual upliftment that is rare.
