Here's a Vedic astrology chart of a man who was fired from his job in the fall of 2004. The dasha period was Sun-Mer-Rahu. Notice how Rahu and Ketu are on the 4th and 10th house axis in his natal chart aspecting both his 10th house and 10th lord Mars. This shows potential for upheavals in his work during the dashas of Rahu, Ketu or Mars.

Since being hired in July of 2004, the work situation was tense and frustrating. Rahu and Ketu by transit were close to both natal Rahu in the 10th house and the 10th lord Mars by transit. Once Saturn transited into his 1st house in September the situation became worse. On September 6th he began his sub-sub period of Rahu which set the stage for a volatile situation. On the day he was fired, September 27th, Rahu was exactly conjunct natal Rahu, and Ketu was within 2 degrees of the 10th lord Mars.
