Quiz Answer: Rise in career, definitely.
This is the chart of a school teacher. After she began her
19 year mahadasha of Saturn at the end of spring 2004, she
decided to take a leave of absence. Notice how Saturn is the
10th lord in the 12th house, indicating a break in her career.
In the beginning of January 2005, the teacher who took her
place suddenly quit. With no other options, her boss contacted
her and was begged her to return from her leave of absence.
She was offered a sizable increase in pay because of the desperate
situation and short notice. This was during her Sat-Sat-Mer
dasha. After the school year ended in June, she decided to
remain in her position and again was offered a pay increase.
Saturn is involved in a dharma karma raja yoga (combination
of the 9th and 10th lords) due to its aspect from Jupiter,
the 9th lord, who's exalted in the 4th house. Mercury is in
the 10th house and is involved in a dana yoga (wealth producing
combination) by its conjunction with the Sun, the 5th lord,
and aspected by Jupiter the 9th lord. The 5th and 9th houses
are houses of Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth. From the Moon,
Mercury becomes the 9th lord with the Sun, the 11th lord which
forms another dana yoga. From the dasha lagna, Saturn, Mercury
is in the 11th house of gains and aspected by Jupiter the
1st and 10th lords.
In the navamsha (9th division) and dashamsha charts (10th
division) Mercury is aspected by Saturn. In both charts this
aspect forms a raja yoga between the 5th and 10th lords, and
a dana yoga between the 2nd and 5th lord and the 9th lord.
By transit, Jupiter, the giver of blessing, is aspecting both
Saturn and Mercury, the dasha and sub period lords.
Also, the double transit of Jupiter and Saturn is aspecting
the 10th house, where Mercury and the Sun are located.
