On Friend's Mother's Behalf

Good day to All,

This is on my friend's mother's behalf:

She has got two sons:

1.Elder Son details:

DOB: 03-09-1974
POB-Delhi
TOB: 3:10 A.M
Rashi-Kumbha,Lagna-Karka, Nakshatra-Shatbhisha

Problem Areas:
1.Had Love marriage but got divorced
2.Has two kids but not with him
3.Had to pay huge alimony
4.Had a flourishing business but now more like a pauper
5.In huge debts which parents have to pay off every now and then
6.Tried to commit suicide in the past

Mother's Worry(ies):
1.Is Second Marriage advisable and whether that would bring happiness
2.Business Condition - When will that improve
Note: This son of hers never do/perform the remedies suggested.

2. Younger Son Details

23-05-1979
7:40 AM ,DELHI

Problem Areas:
1.Never had a stable career.he leaves job on his own and then struggles a lot to get another one
2.Expenses more than the earnings
3.though , he is leaving to another country for a career there but that is after 2 yrs and is on contract
4.Again, in huge debts

Mother's Worry:
1.Career- would there be a steady career Or a business is recommended to meet his needs

Dear Adhvait,

Here's my response on analysing these two charts.

Elder Son.
I regret to say this - but this chart is riddled with problems.
Just to name a few problems.
Lagna lord, Moon in the 8th in a Kemadhruma formation.
Lagna carrying a badhakesha hemmed between Sat and Sun
Rahu in the 5th.
In the D10 chart - #1 problem Lagna lord Merc and also karaka Merc is placed in the 12th house,
Jupiter is eclipsed in Marana Karaka sthana and Sat-Sun in the 8th.

I think the younger son has much better prospects. The period until Aug 14, 2012 is a bit rough - but things should change soon thereafter.
With 4 planets in 11th house in Rasi and much better D10 chart he can definitely plan on getting and sustaining a job for the short term but do some independent business at a later point in about 5-6 years.

He is running Merc dasa from 1999 until 2016.Currently in Merc/Jup but moving to Merc/Sat from Aug 2013.
For the past 2.5 years he's been under Ashtama Shani as well (Transit Sani in the 8th from natal Moon)
Saturn does move to Libra on Aug 4 - so there should be some respite.
I wouldn't expect major turnarounds.
He definitely needs to find a decent job and start over.
He'll start to regain some Apr 2014 timeframe.
