Dwadasama of siblings

Postby sunnyday » Thu Mar 21, 2013 4:35 am

Everytime I look at Dwadasama of siblings, I notice atleast some planets placed in the same signs for the siblings. How can we analyse the similarities and get a better understanding of their childhood home and parents ?

Thanks

Dear Sunnyday ji,

Dwadasamsa is for Parents/Ancestors. Drekkana is for siblings. In general for home environment look at 4th and 2nd house in the Rashi chart. For a specific analysis yogas come into play.

Rathore,

Thanks for the reply. Yes if Dwadasamsa is for parents - if we want to know more in detail about the parents of the child and especially siblings - can we compare the 2 dwadasamsa charts of the kids - how can we interpret that chart - is it same like rashi chart - like the 4th house and moon for mother in dwadasamsa and 9th and sun for father.

Thanks

Sunnyday ji,

Houses only exist in the Rashi chart. A planet falling in a particular dwadasamsa (or any amsa such as Navamsa, Dasamsa etc) just means its at a particular degree and planets give particular results at particular degrees...every single time.

For analysis see the dignity of Sun or Venus (whichever is stronger - for father), stronger of Moon or Mars for Mother, dignity of 4th and 10th lord of Rashi in Dwadasmsa. Start with these planets, their dignities, strength and houses in Rashi and use Dwadasmsa/Drekkana for fine tuning regarding parents and siblings.

Rathore ji,

Can you please suggest any good reading material for the results of planets by their degree.

Thanks

Sunnyday ji,

You can start with BPHS and then Brihat Jataka. Whenever you see a statement such as: Moon in the navamsa of Venus while aspected by Sun (in Rashi only, aspects are not outside Rashi) means X results, it is then talking about specific degrees of Moon. Moon can only be in the navamsa of Venus for certain degrees in each sign.
