I agree that many people believe in matching charts with comparable paapa points AND boy's being slightly higher than Girl's. My understanding is that the paapa points shows up in behaviours like aggression. When these dicta were laid down, the society was male dominated (including Kerala which is supposed to be matrilineal

). An agressive girl would have probably run into lot of trouble, whereas agression for a man was the "given" thing

. But even today I personally do not believe that agression on both sides balances out. One advantage of our time is that marriage is happening closer to 30s at which point the agression is supposed to run out of steam

But I think, we will have to look at the guna match, paapa points and others and most important the dasa sequence to come to a comprehnsive opinion (I am shying away from the word 'Judgement'

).
In this case other factors look quite good/OK. Plus there is a slight mitigation of Kuja dosha.
