Mahapurush Yoga

Postby nupur » Sat Oct 08, 2011 1:10 am

Hello Learned Members

Is it true that a mahapurush yoga is formed when the key planet forming the yoga is alone in the kendra. In case another planet conjuncts it the yoga is not valid ? Or the effect of the mahapurush yoga gets weakened ?
What if the planet is retrograde ?
Please comment on this .

Thanx

Mahapurasha Yoga is formed when the planet in question is in a Kendra from the lagna and the planet is in its own house or in its exalted sign. Conjunction with another planet does not make the yoga Null and Void. The effect is not weakened all other factors being equal. Retrograde planets who are participating in the yoga will still give its effects, all factors being equal.

Nupur, what is the lagna on for the 1964 Horoscope ? The lagna is at the edge. Kindly clarify. I get Dhanu.

If its Dhanu then there is no Sasa Yoga. However there is a Malavya and a Hamsa Yoga present. :( However both yogas are cancelled because they are debilitated in the Navamsha.

Hi Astroboy

Sasa Yoga is present in another chart . I hope you would give detailed analysis of 1964 chart as it is confusing for me as yogas being cancelled , kaalsarpe yoga , so many planets debilitated in navamsa , Moon with Ketu, 8th lord Moon in lagna , moon in vargottama ect. But the person is leading a very good life in every aspect . He is a very noble person respected by all in his circles . A person who is large hearted , caring and doing good for everyone .
Changes and difficulties in his life are sudden but he overcomes all of them.
Please give the detailed analysis if time permits.

Thanks in advance.

1964 chart.

navamsa has 3 debiliated planets no doubt.....Me, Ju , ve.
Sa is exalted in navamsa.

But when I see dasavarga strength of planets...6 planets are in gopuramsa or above.
Rasi chart is very powerful and planets have above average amsabala.
4 planets in own house or exalted. Ra and ke in moola trikone.

Personal life/married life may not be good. May have some adharmic tastes.
Material life may be very good.

Ghrishneswar Sir

Thank you for seeing the chart . As you have mentioned about the strength of rashi chart it is clear the rashi chart is the most imp of all charts . In this chart as rashi chart and moon chart is the same intensity of results is visible . Deb of planets in navamsa has not severely affected the native although his life had gone to altogather different level provided these planets were not deb in navamsa .

Please tell me about KS Dosha if you understand in this chart.

Thanks again.

Regards

Dear Astroboy,

You dismissed that girl's chart because her lagna lord is combust. You concluded that her sasa yoga would not be very powerful. I like your pessimism and I was wondering if you could look at my chart.
I have Saturn exalted in 10th but have not felt anything remotely close to Sasa yog, I mean for once I am a very bad leader, I am unable to give orders even to my employees and the only position of leadership that I have had is when I was class rep age 14 and 17. So where did it go wrong? Is it Rahu's aspect on Shanidev or the lagna being at a cusp?
And no, i don't seem to have any other characteristics relating to that yoga, I mean I do have some but they can also be explained by my other planets. As yes, Asc Capricorn has been confirmed by two other astrologers.

DOB: 27 November 1982

Place of Birth: 18.55 South 47.31 East

Hello Anxious and astroboy,
Since I too have sasa yogam,I would like to get to know its strength as well.
I too have felt the same about not having the leadership qualities in me ie about throwing orders and being very bossy.
But I have noticed a kind of leadership quality inside of me that my mentor Saturn has instilled upon which is quite different from being outwardly.
It lays the foundation for discipline by working tirelessly behind-the-scenes.I have felt it this way many a times!
I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.

The goal of yoga, or of the person practicing yoga, is the attainment of a state of perfect spiritual insight and tranquility. It increases flexibility. Yoga has positions that act upon the various joints of the body including those joints that are never really on the ‘radar screen’, let alone exercised. Yoga is perhaps, the only form of activity which massages all the internal glands and organs of the body in a thorough manner, including those – such as the prostate - that hardly get externally stimulated during our entire lifetime. Yoga acts in a wholesome manner on the various body parts. This stimulation and massage of the organs in turn benefits us by keeping away disease and providing a forewarning at the first possible instance of a likely onset of disease or disorder.
