The number 108 as Signified in the Natal Chart

Post by Khoo Hock Leong » Wed Jul 12, 2017 11:32 am

Hi Learned Members

We know the 10th house is Krishna house.

The 8th house is 11th to the 10th which is the gains to our path to know Krishna better.

Hence the two numbers `10' and '8' combined which gives '108', with 10 being the main bhava and 8 the secondary bhava (gains to the 10th).

Notice adding up the digits give '9' which is the bhava sandwiched between the 8th and the 9th. 9th is also the 12th of 10th (Krishna) and 7th of 3rd (Shiva) and 11th of 11th (Brahma), the combined potent forces from the Trinity, to give Durga.

(11th for Brhama is exemplified by the 20 mukhi bead which is 10x2, starting from the 10th house of Krishna (Vishnu), go two steps to land on the 11th bhava of desires and gains (hence creation). 20 mukhi bead is Brahma's bead).

9th lord in 8th bhava and 5th lord in 10th bhava with the latter being a Yogakaraka is an ideal placement, not the least of which to know Krishna, bhakti (the 4th) and the soul (the 5th) is necessary. But the 9th of rituals and 8th of intense devotion can also help to boost the overall devotion.

Best Regards
Khoo
