Re: The Mars + Rahu Combination

Hi! I have heard somewhere that Mars controls Rahu. Is it true? In my chart I have Rahu+Mars in 8th house (Aquarius) aspected by Saturn from 6th house (Saggitarius). I have the same combination in the lagana...for me the mars effect got hemmed by the saturn aspect...i can at times come back from be...

Saturn -Rahu conjunction in navamsa

Hello everyone,
I have read that saturn and rahu make shrapit yoga in birth chart.
Would they do the samething when placed together in navamsa chart.
I have this combination in 2nd house of Taurus.

Re: Great Wealth Yoga by Parasara - But Which Ascendant Has the Greatest Wealth?

Khoo
Wouldnt having sun and saturn in 5-11 axis become a warlike situation...as both planets are not compactible. Also sun will be helmed by the saturnian power for the most time....

And what about other rising signs ? Is this situation only favourable to libra ascendents?

Re: 11th Bhava Good or Bad - And the Anwer Is......

Also is your Saturn retrograding? This would mean a Saturn influence on the 10th in a very great way which can leave drop you from a great height. Saturn on the 11th, on top of what is mentioned in this thread, has a great influence on the 1st when placed in the 11th because it is making a full asp...

Re: Rahu in 7th house

Not necessary true but I have a couple of examples where 1H Ketu has resulted in unable to perform pujas and yags... One was a male who refused to keep idols in the house; spouse had to go for idol-less/spiritual worship because of that in order to save her marriage and another is female who is not ...

Re: Astrologers, please share your knowledge

I dont think it should be considered as a marriage...marriage is more like a formal alliance, which everyone knows about...
The man wouldnt have told everyone about the lady now?...so its not a relationship like marriage...

Re: Not Married Yet-Any chance?

There is a parivartana yoga between Sun and Mercury...that elevates the chart to an extent( will need more experienced members to comment on that. Well marriage at 19 wouldnt be a decision i am talking about...that decision would have come up around 25-26 after your employment...maybe something else...

Hi Anirban,

Its been a while I read charts so my 3rd eye might be clouded abit

Period around Sept 2014- Sept 2015 Might be better than current one

Did you take any decision or was any decision taken by others for you between Sept 2002-Sept 2003 for the future?

Re: Nature of 8th House

Saditya, It might have been because mercury itself is placed in 8H. That would not affect the person much (last time I checked) Few might know, I am Kumbha Lagna with Mercury in 4H conjuncted with Jupiter and Venus, moon in 10H, Saturn in 11H I was born in Mercury MD, say last 3 yrs or so. After bir...

Astro You are right on the fact that astrology is a science but its a subtle one...not hardcore like physics... 2 and 2 doesnt make 4 here...it can make anything especially when other affects are hidden.. Everyone having moon in jyestha might have those qualities but the affects differ the quantific...

Re: Mercury - The two faced

Agreed with Elipsis, It more like there is a hunger for reason, which trumps the decision or weakens it.That could be the effect of Mercury. Say: You were really expecting someone but he/she didnt show up, after which u decided to punish them. But then after hearing their side of the argument (which...

Astrodude,

I know him as a member of LOVA...but my interaction with him was less(also I am gifted with an art of forgetfulness so it might take 2-3 weeks to put a handle on it :P )

Does duality means with standards?..One for some and then another for others?

Re: Mercury - The two faced

I am not sure what you mean by double faced...can you cite an example to which we can relate.

My moon is in Jyestha, only duality I feel is regarding understanding all reasons...that led to good decisions and bad decisions, and a bad habit of making assumptions

Re: Karakamsa in Jaimini Astrology

Dear Avinash,

Jupiter is the Amtakarka...the karakamsa sign becomes Sagittarius( as Jupiter is placed there in navamsa)
So the KL or Karakamsa lagna in the birth chart is Sagittarius itself...

Hi, Ideally, Jaimini is specifically for Rashi Dashas and Drishtis; Parashar is for Planet Dashas and Drishtis....But few highly learned astrologers who are both aware and comfortable with these 2 techniques tend to use both simultaneously. Jaimini usually provides the correct timing and Parashar pr...

Degree of each individual planets and the rashies should also be considered....
