Chart of Singapore - Not a Tiny Dot on the World

Post by Khoo Hock Leong » 15 Jun 2009

Hi

Singapore gained its national independence on 9th August 12:00 pm.
Greenwich Mean Time +7.30, 1965. Its latitude is 1 degree 16 minutes north and 103 degrees 51 minutes east.

In a way we were just like when India separated from Pakistan. Muslims in India try to cross over to Pakistan and Hindus in Pakistan try to cross over India in 1948 - all in the hope they would not be in the wrong side of the dividing line.

In Singapore on 9th Aug 1965, exactly the same thing happened. We have inter-marriages between families in Malaysia and those in Singapore be it Indians, Malays or Chinese. Each side had to decide which country they wanted to make it their home. So the frantic of crossing the causeway took place (this causeway is still existing now). One of my uncles (my mother's brother) cross over the causeway to join his wife.

But Singaproe has done so well. It is now considered a cosmpolitan city - at par with London, New York, Sydney and Paris (even Japanese cities like Tokyo is not considered cosmopolitan enough).

The positions of the planets for Singapore is as follows :

Lagna Libra
Sun Cancer
Moon Saggittarius
Mars Virgo
Mercury Leo (R)
Jupiter Gemini
Venus Leo
Saturn Aquarius (R)
Rahu Taurus
Ketu Scorpio

Saturn ruling the 4th and 5th the Yogakaraka is in the 5th. Singapore is strict with its children and education. We are strict with drugs traffickers and felonious crimes, land is scarce (Saturn rules scarcity) and our leaders are generally conservative but able. We discourage people owning cars so as to minimise traffic jams. Hence we came out with the Vehicle Licensing System. Most of our agricultural products we import from our neighbouring countries.

The Asecendant lord Venus which rules public health, state policies, the consitution, the cabinet and the general affairs of the state is with Mercury in the 11th house - Mercury ruling the 9th governing the judiciary - our cabinet and judiciary work hand in hand to provide gains, peace (Venus) and prosperity to our nation. The professions (Mercury) is also well governed here by rules and regulations.

Jupiter rules the 3rd and the 6th and placed in the 9th. We integrate our communications network with our forces through many contacts like bilateral treaties, agreements (9th house) so as to build up a well defence capability. Mercury dispositing Jupiter shows that this also contributes to the nation's prosperity. Moon ruling the 10th in 3rd opposing Jupiter in 9th, shows our rulers monitor this aspect of the country via the communications medium like the newspapers reports etc. Sun in 10th shows the authorities involved are very high up in the hierarchy - the defence ministry is considered to be very important.

Final disposition in the chart is 3rd - 9th - 11th - 10th and back to 3rd. So a good economy would further bolster our defence through the purchaseing of resources for defence. We invest in the best defence technology that money can buy. The sequence of dispositions shows we always rejuvenate ourselves for better strength eg. 3rd to 9th (from short term to long term goals, domestic to international), 9th to 11th (we seek righteousness in our actions as the 11th is the 3rd of the 9th), 11th to 10th (we never let our guard down irregardless of our prosperirty), 10th to 3rd (we re-do our strategy long term periodically ie. we often re-make our destiny, we do not get stuck on a trajectory).

Thanks.

Rahu and Ketu

Post by Khoo Hock Leong » 15 Jun 2009

Hi

Rahu and Ketu is on Singapore's 2nd and 8th house axis. Both nodes are exalted.

Rahu denotes the hands and the 8th denotes corporate investment. Singapore attracts foreign investment using promotional activities that it is a good haven to invest. Funds flow into the island.

Ketu denots the feet and the 2nd denots our personal savings. We hunt around the world in search of a haven to invest our own funds. The dispositor is Mars in 12th denoting foreign countries which also happens to rule the 7th - 12th is more long term in terms of the financial time horizon of the investmnets ie. when the invesments would mature. Fundss flow out of the island to gain in investments for the country.

Dispositor of 8th is Venus in 11th. Dispositor of 2nd is Mars in 12th which in turn is disposited by Merucry in 11th. The direct link of inflow investments to the profits earned is more clearly seened than the outflow of funds to foreign investments - which requires two dispositorships in the chain. But both eventually ends up in the 11th house of gains.

The 11th house is very strong for Singapore. By the way Mercury is the significator for shares or other instruments for long term investment (or speculation if 5th house is involved which is not the case for Singapore's chart) as the 2nd house is involved in this case. The two disposorships in the chain could mean that the invesment scheme may be quite complex.

Thanks.

Hock Leong,
Thanks for the information about Singapore.
What a fantastic chart, it has.

As you said, the 11th house is the strongest and Sun in the 10th with Digbala making it great too.

Jupiter in the 9th is another amazing factor as that provides the protection of Jupiter to the ascendent and 5th houses as well.

Saturn, the yogakaraka for the chart in His own house is good.

No wonder Singapore is so successful and peaceful.

The funniest part is that India is the place of origin of Vedic astrology and I even heard that the time of indepence for India was chosen astrologically. I want to seriously question the credentials of the person who chose the time. They could not have chosen worse.

I don't have to talk about the plight of India, which everyone knows. The problem is that the people who looked at the chart also feel that there is no help in sight for a long time for the country.

Enjoy the great time in your country!

One thing is that the Moon ruling 10th is in Kendrapathi Dosa. So the government may be less in touch with the masses. But with Mercury and Venus trining it (both trinal lords and each contributing 50% of the aspectual effects), the government is taking steps to rectify the situation.

hello,
Rajiv dixit, the one who revealed lots of truth in regards to many serious issues in india, disclosed that india's independance day had been chosen by the british people in such a way that within 100yrs of independance, india will be again in the possession of india.
