What special aspects really say in vedic astrology?

Here i am writing some key points of planets special aspects for lovers of Astrology.

Every bhava 7th house is a power or energy source house of[to] that particular bhava. If malefics or afflicted benefits are there in that bhav or its 7th house, the results are negative.Mars 4th aspects teaches a lesson & its 8th aspect destroys that aspected bhavas enemies. For ex-if mars aspects the 2nd bhava with his 8th aspects kills the enemies of the natives born family[remember that-not the natives enemies and these enemies of his entire birth family]],the result will be the same if he accepts that 2nd house lord.If mars aspects both 2nd house or its lord or the planet placed in 2nd or the planet played with 2nd lord, such bhava related enemies are under trouble. If such mars in neecha eradicates those bhav related enemies in a lesser account,if mars is in uchha, his 8th aspect fully destroys those enemies.

Jupiters 5th aspect protects his aspected bhava is like a child & his 9th aspect gives a good protection[ father like protection].jupiters 5th aspt always give good fortune & luck to natives childrens and not to the native.[make it a point].

Saturns 3rd aspect is a dummy one & takes away that bhavas main portfolios.so one has to show up or cover up such 3rd bhavas lost portfolios in a falsy way.For-ex-3rd is courage-voice-younger sisters. If saturn aspects this bhava, native devoid of voice-courage & fear of his younger sisters.so he has to cover up all these minus points by showing the false courage to the outer world. If a planet posited in 3rd house, who is also a 5-10th lord aspected by satn with 3rd aspt, gives frequent breaks in carrier.satns 3rd aspt on 10th always breaks the profession.

Saturns 10th aspect on a bhava denotes that bhavas portfolios are in prime importance to native.suppose if saturn aspects the 10th bhava with his 10th aspect, job is his prime important area. The same will be the result,if you see the 10th from saturn's position..

Namah Shivaaya,
Thanks Joyd for explaining about drishti for grahas, but What about Chhaaya grahas? (Nodes)
My interest over here is pertaining to my 5th, 9th houses, there are 3 grahas which are aspecting my 5th, 9th houses,
(i) 5th aspect of Jupiter from lagnam,
(ii) 4th aspect of Exalted Mars from 2nd house,
(iii) Saturn's 3rd aspect from his own house.
In my horoscope Saturn is in 3rd house in own sign (Kumbha raashi), I had a lot of communication barriers, Since Saturn represents obstacles, so my language was also not very fluent in my early childhood days, but eventually I'm getting a flow (Is it because of Upachhaya bhaava?). In early days i use to fear for so many things, but it's reduced mostly, I wasn't that courage at that time, now I'm very open in discussing things, you've mentioned 3rd aspect of Saturn will takes away that bhavas main portfolios, in my birth chart as it is aspecting 5th house my early education was moderate, my grasping power is also too low at that time, Is my observation correct Joyd?
As you've mentioned Mars's 4th aspect teaches us a lesson, can you elaborate it?
Mars is my 5th/12th lord exalted in 2nd house, does this also has a say regarding my Education? I heard that Grahas doesn't hamper their own sign, Is my observation true Joyd?
As Jupiter is aspecting 5th house from lagnam, does this has also a say in regarding my education?
I'm very much interested in higher Philosophy, learning Samskrutam, is it because of the 5th aspect of Jupiter?
And coincidentally my another trikona bhava is also aspected by the same grahas, i.e.,
(i) 9th Aspect of Jupiter from lagnam
(ii) 7th aspect of Saturn from 3rd bhava (I don't know what does this mean)
(iii) 8th aspect of Mars from 2nd bhava.

I'm very much interested in knowing about my 9th house, 5th house, it would be pleasure if you could guide me in understanding this.

My birth details:
Date of birth: January 7th 1996
Time of birth: 6:33 A.M.
Place of birth: Warangal (Andhra Pradesh)

Thanks

VS-
your saturn 3rd aspect-observations are good. Now you just add mars 4th aspet on your 5th.you said that planet wont hampers its own house results but aspect is always its full effect on their own houses too.Mars here taught a lesson[it may be either positive or a negative one] to you via your 5th house of college education. What saturn 3rd aspect given that was partially[only partially] removed by mars 4th aspect on 5th.Thats why you slowly overcome the effect of saturn's 3rd aspect partially on your 5th .In future you will be enlightened regarding the Mars 4th aspect lessons either by your own son or wife.5th is 9th to 9th,so you can expect a lesson from your gurus or father too which is more useful for your further studies [more probably a positive one].Why bcz mars well placed in the chart.

saturns 3d aspect gives low grasping power.

Regarding the aspect of 3 major planes on your 9th-it means, your 9th bhava or house strengthened[by gods grace] but Mars 8th aspect on 9th gives destruction to father or rarely to your wife too.Mercury is the karaka for sanskrit. Her he is with 5th lord Mars and aspected by 4th lord jupiter.so it is quite possible one.

Mars 7th aspect is strength for 2nd house. It means, moon supplies sufficient energy and strength to your dhana bhava or house.

Saturns 7th aspect on 9th means, your active and healthy due to your dharma charan or sadhanas. Here your 9th house supplies energy to your 3rd house of parakrama and communication skills. This is the background reason of the effects of saturn's 3rd aspect on your 5th.Due to this only you gradually overcome the problem of communications.Thats why i mentioned that you are partially saved from the saturns 3rd aspect and not fully. So keep more concentration on your studies.

Now you judge what jupiters 7th aspect on 7th means.

Namah Shivaaya,
Wishes to every one, today is Margashira Shukla Shasti (Subrahmanyeshwara Shasti)
Sorry Joyd, for the late reply, my end semester exams are going on, that's why.

As we all know Jupiter is all about expansion, Higher Philosophy, Wisdom, hopes & fulfillment of wishes, Since he's the natural kaaraka (significator) 11th house (11th house is all hope, fulfillment of wishes) So, Jupiter's aspect on any house is a blessing pertaining to that house, As we all know 7th house is all about relationship, especially Spouse, Jupiter's 7th aspect tells about sharing & intake of knowledge, So, as Jupiter's 7th aspect on 7th house tells about, sharing & learning of knowledge with my Wifieee :), So, I'll get a Wife who has Philosophical attributes, So, my marriage will be blessed by Jupiter.

Does Ketu in UL (Upapada lagnam) tells about the spouse that I'm going to get is of a Philosophical nature?
My Ketu is in 4th house in dvisvabhaava raashi (Meena raashi)

4th house speaks about home land, Mother, Nurturers, So, as 4th lord Jupiter 7th aspect on 7th house shows that I'll nurture my Wifiee like a Mother, which i really want to. Thanks to Jupiter especially for this.

Kindly rectify observations Joyd, I'm very new to Jyptishya Shaastram, I want to learn this Shaastram.
Thanks.

In natal chart & transit chart, such aspect results in taking utmost care about one's career and father.why ? i already mentioned that 10th aspect of saturn gives more concentration on that bhava significations and jupiters 5h aspect is a protective shield.career break point f view, sometimes native may think that his present job is not in a secured state.so don't be eager on leaving your present job unless you got a better pay and position in your new offer.

Hi Joyd,
What if Jupiter aspects 10th house and 10th lord with his 5th aspect, and Saturn aspects the same house/lord with the 3rd? I have this combination in my chart. I think Saturn will give career breaks in his period but Jupiter will ensure that new career opportunities will be coming in. Pls confirm.
[/quote]/I understood about career but why father? I thought 9th house and 9th L deals with father. Personally I have 9th Lord Sun in 9th house and the same repeats from moon sign so I my belief was, that by itself explains my close connection with my father, without considering other factors..
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

so your jupiter is in taurus and saturn in cancer.am i right hari.? Reg your father's care issue, read this-

your moon and natal ascendant is sagittarius based on your given details.you are saying sun in his own house i.e in 9th from the both lagnas..I am aware of father's house but sun as karaka placed in his karak sign is good or bad ?.one more thing you have to see is,sun is in 12th from the 10th.Here 9-10 houses[their lords] are in 2-12 relationship.so you are clear now on your expressed doubt on father. The good or bad to father or to you depends on 2-3-6-7-9 lords or the planets placed in those houses and their BAV points.Don't look at only one point, for example-9th is not only father,he may be your guru or father like figures too.9th is pilgrimages and holy water baths, dharmic ceremonies etc.you have to link your logic to that house significations.I used the term "care" in my reply based on karak placement only.[9-10/2-12].This reply only based on your general description of placement of karak.there are other factors which modifies the final outcome.

From here after ,before you ask any question try to write your birth info too for a clear analysis.By the bye, just guess why i linked your 10th house to your fathers care issues?

Namah Shivaaya,
Joyd, In the earlier post you've replied that Saturn's 7th aspect on 9th means 9th house supplies the energy to my 3rd house, isn't that Saturn is supplying energy to the 9th house by aspecting?
As 7th house is a Kaama trikona, So 7th aspect of any graha on any house would be desire with respect to it's lord ship position & it's intrinsic quality. For example let's consider in my chart Jupiter is aspecting 7th house through 7th aspect, As Jupiter's intrinsic quality is Saatvik & it represents Wisdom, Philosophy, blessings So, it's 7th aspect (Kama aspect (I've no idea whether i can call like this or not)) would shows blessings for marriage, Spouse? Am i right Joyd? If wrong kindly rectify it.
Regarding Sun as Sun being my 9th lord, it represents Fortune, Long journey & Philosophy, Gurus as it's aspecting my 7th house, can i conclude that the Spouse that I'm going to get is from far away from my birth Place, Since 9th lord is aspecting 7th house & 7th lord is in movable sign?
As 9th house represents Gurus, Philosophy, 7th house represents relationship, So, 9th house in Ascendant desires (Kaama aspect) to be in relationship with Gurus as it aspects 7th house?
Am i right Joyd? 8)

By the way today I've performed Navagraha Shanti Homam, as I'm running 7th lord (Budha) Mahaadasha. :)

Thanks Joyd :D

First differentiate the strengths of aspects.Among saturn-jupiter-mars,their special aspects are not considered as poorna or complete aspects & they are partial aspects only.so you can easily judge which aspect gives which ,in terms of power-quality-quantity angles.Always remember,if a planet aspecting its 7th house means, the so called house under the aspect of that planet/house supplies energy to the aspected planet & its residing house.Don't limit the out come of the result to a particular significance of planet/house.you have to logically interpret the out come by viewing all angles[significations]. Re read my 1st analysis post in this thread and apply to your raised questions intelligently, liberally.Break each question and apply the rule.so that you have very clear,in depth understanding about the aspects.Wish you happy learning from LOVA.

Namah Shivaaya,
Joyd bhaiyya I've a basic doubt on Aspects & bhaava, let's take an outer graha Jupiter, it has 5th, 7th, 9th aspect. Suppose If Jupiter is in Meena Raashi in Revati Nakhatram 4th Paadam and let's say the person born in Aries Ascendant in Ashwini Nakshatram 1st paadam, So, Jupiter will shift to 1st bhaavam isn't it?
The Person is actually belongs to a dual Ascendant isn't it bhaiyya?

So, from that Position Jupiter Aspects 5th, 7th, 9th positions respectively after all Aspect means glancing any graha if posited between 120° to 160°(5th Aspect of Jupiter) from the Jupiter's placement i.e., here from Revati-4th paadam, 180° to 210° (7th aspect of Jupiter), 240° to 270°(9th aspect of Jupiter).

I kindly request you to rectify my mistakes if committed.
Thanks Joyd bhaiyya

Avoid Bhav chalit chart at learning stages. If you insists on it,then take and consider ascendant lagna degree to construct the bhav chalit and then verify anything you are interested to know in deep.Among all charts, the D1-D60 given utmost importance and equalities in output. There is an highly advanced bhav chalit chart construction method which is not presentable one at present stages of learning.when you see that chart, you simply say Aa-Ha.

Give 1st priority to D1 till you got the point.Once you master it switch to D60 and compare weather the both charts speaking the same point. After that judge the both charts using bhav chalit chart. If ones birth time is accurate d1-d60 both gives you the same result without use of bhava chalit.

Namah Shivaaya,
Vaikunttha Ekaadashi wishes!
Joyd bhaiyya, Your 1st word in this topic was (Every bhava 7th house is a power or energy source house of[to] that particular bhava).

You've assigned me a work to analyze what does 7th aspect of Jupiter on 7th mean.

From your above words 7th house is supplying energy to Jupiter (But why?) I mean why 7th house should supply energy to 1st house when there's a Planet in 1st house & there's no planet in 7th house, So a Jupiter or any graha aspect on any house should be energy giving to that house via aspect from that graha but not taking (No idea, but i think if there's no graha sitting opposite to that graha) HOW CAN A GRAHA TAKES ENERGY WHEN THERE'S NO ENERGY TO SUPPLY? or do you mean every Raashi has some amount of energy intrinsically present in it? So, only via 7th aspect it can take that energy, Is it Joyd bhaiyya?

So, What does Jupiter's 7th aspect on 7th means? & 9th lord Sun aspect on 7th from Ascendant mean?

Thanks Joyd bhaiyya

Shri Skanda namo namah!

Hi Joyd,

I have heard about the difference between Jupiter's special aspects (5th/9th) as you've called out and tend to agree somewhat. Where it gets complicated for me is when assessing the net/overall impact of a combination of aspects and associations from different planets on a house/plane.

Let me use a case chart below

Birth date, Time : 9 May 1974, 13:48 hrs
Place : Delhi, India

The Jatak has recently started Mars Mahadasha. There are both positive aspects and factors as well as negative on Mars.

Positives :
1. Mars is a Yogkaraka
2. Mars is posited in the 11th house
3. Jupiter 5th aspect from 7th house to the 11th house, aspecting Mars
4. D-9, Mars Posited in Kendra along with Jup and Moon in Pisces
5. Mars is a functional benefic and Lagna Lord's friend
etc.

Negatives:
1. Mars conjunct Saturn
2. Mars is posited in Gemini, house of an enemy (Mercury)
3. Mars is the Badhakesh as well (9th Lord for Leo Lagna)
4. Mars is a natural malefic

What could be an appropriate interpretation for the Mars mahadasha and overall significations for the 11th, 4th and 9th houses? Not to mention its aspects on 2nd/6th houses from the 11th.

Thanks in advance

The 5th aspect of jupiter on mars guards the 11th house significations.Mars 4th aspect on 2nd house teaches a lesson either through a family member or by financial matters.Mars 8th aspect on 6th eradicates maternal uncles, aunts enemies. In this particular 8th aspect of mars, such enemies are not destroyed completely, why bcz mars is neutral in airy signs.so you can expect, such enemies are under control for a few months period and when time comes, they try to give troubles to maternal uncles-aunts.

Mars is badhakesh when posited in 9th from lagna.saturn-mars conjunction in 11th is good only.In general sense, mars can give delays in property-vehicle-mothers matters. As 9th lord in 11th,gives accumulated wealth.so 9-11th house significations are on high growth and 4th significations under suffering.possibility of sickness to elder bro or mother is high. Also you may come across a sexual contact with a aged woman too.

Mars dasa-Rahu and Moon anthars gives unorthodoxically ,unethical thinking too.

As 9th lord in 11th gives accumulated wealth. So 9-11th house significations are on high growth.
So, won't this depend on friend or enemy Zodiac sign?

Shri Skanda Namo Namah!

Many thanks Joyd. Good perspectives on certain attributes. There are so many finer nuances to look at and draw conclusions from (which makes the pursuit of astrology such a challenging as well as interesting activity)

An couple of interesting ones which caught my attention were,
1. Mercury is less than half a degree into the 10th House and in Bhav chalit chart is in the 9th house only. Would that constitute a parivartana/exchange between Mars/Marcury? If yes, what can we deduce from it?
2. The lagna lord, Sun is exalted and posited in the 9th house. I gather that the Sun Dasha was not a very good one at all for the native professionally. As per the classics, it should've been a good one (Strong LL in 9H, exalted). what could I be missing here. Mars is the dispositor for both luminaries (Sun-soul, Moon-mind) in the chart. Can we deduce that Mars Dasha is going to be most significant for attributes related to Sun/Moon as well.

Thanks

yes vs..and you have to find out the reasons for the above two deductions of this chart.i mean why i have given such answers, reg his 9-11th bhavas growth.

viagra-Always remember bhav chalit chart used when native has doubt in his birth time.If birth time is correct, then navamsa is the best indicator of results.so i don't use bhav chalit in correct birth time charts.your 2nd query will be answered later.
